The EFDC signed an agreement with the Russian Fashion Council for an exchange of designers at the respective Fashion Weeks. The EFDC selected women’s rtw designer Alia Abaza and men’s and women’s rtw designer Waseem Khadra to represent Egypt at Moscow Fashion Week that took place in the Russian Capital this March. Designers from China, India, South Africa, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia, Indonesia and Turkey participated in the event alongside their Russian counterparts. Next to solo runway shows the designers participated in the showroom and interactive sessions. Two Russian designers will be showcasing their collections at the upcoming second edition of Egypt Fashion Week.
